TeamTime was founded by Tyler McCourt with one clear mission: unite teams through elite, custom gear that’s built to last.

Tyler’s journey started as a three-sport athlete—wrestling, lacrosse, and volleyball—where he learned early that great gear does more than identify a team. It builds pride, cohesion, and confidence. After college, Tyler briefly stepped into a desk job, but it didn’t take long to realize he was wired for something more hands-on and purpose-driven.

That realization pulled him into athletic apparel. In 2015, Tyler began as an intern at Abercrombie & Fitch, then moved to a small wrestling apparel brand, where he saw firsthand how powerful team identity becomes when it’s expressed through intentional design and quality construction.

Over time, that obsession with durability and performance only deepened. Today, as a brown belt in jiu-jitsu, Tyler still trains almost every day using gear he personally designed and made over 10 years ago—gear that’s been washed, dragged across mats, and battle-tested thousands of times. It still holds up. That standard—build it once, build it right—is the foundation of TeamTime.

After helping scale a custom apparel company called Emblem to over $2.5 million in revenue, Tyler knew it was time to build something different. In 2022, he launched TeamTime with a bold goal: create the best team apparel store platform in the world—one designed specifically for elite military units and high-performing sports teams to design, fundraise, and outfit their entire organization in one seamless experience.
